After Sunset, Deccan Odyssey and Launceston all possess good speed. DECCAN ODYSSEY (3) resumes. He got better with racing in his debut campaign, not far away in some better maidens than this and only going down by half a length at Cranbourne before a spell. Should be further improved this time around and can break through while fresh. NORSE WARRIOR (12) is interesting, having started favourite on debut in a 2yo race at Morphettville Parks, struggling to make an impact there in a small field. Could be a quick improver this time around on the home track. FLOWER STOMPER (11) is a gelding by Grunt on debut for the Freedman yard. His jumpouts haven't been all that flash but the Freedman/Allen combination is worth keeping safe. SECRET BEAU (7) ran well on debut here over 1000m and will be better for it. Takes catching. BERMONDSEY (10) can be an improver second up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Deccan Odyssey to win.
