The pace looks very strong with plenty of pressure on from the word go. DAKARAI (5) was freshened before being sent out favourite and scoring with authority here last time. Should have no problem with the extra ground and is expected to go close. SPEEDTAIL (6) should be near his peak after two runs from a break. The rise in trip is a plus and he won't be far away at the business end. SHARP RESPONSE (1) got back and worked to the line nicely when resuming. Fitter this time around and the extra ground is a plus. Should go close. SLANE (3) has been freshened since finishing just out of the placings at Moonee Valley last time. Suited fresh at this trip on the big track. Don't underestimate. SUGGESTED PLAY: Back Dakarai and Speed tail to win.
