Funshow should find the front with The Netball Queen and Oakfield Universe on his heels. FUNSHOW (1) started favourite and did a good job to hang on for second after showing pace on debut over this distance at the Beaumont track. With a little natural improvement to come he looks perfectly poised to go one better. FIREWORK (2) returns from a five-month spell. Opened last prep with a narrow defeat over today's journey at Kembla, the high point of that campaign. Big chance with a similar effort today. OAKFIELD UNIVERSE (8) battled on well but was no match for the winner when fresh from a spell over 1100m at Wyong recently. Nicely drawn and the extra 100m boosts her chances. ETOILES (3) is a Bivouac three-year-old on debut. Looked good winning a trial at Wyong on 23 December. Respect any positive market push. ALL STAR (5) was a well-beaten third when resuming at Wyong last start but is lightly raced and has great scope for improvement. SUGGESTED PLAY: Funshow to lead all the way.
