GOING: G

VHRC / RICH RIVER GOLF CLUB PACE 2190m

Track: GOOD

YANKEE CAPTAIN (4) had to dig deep to score at the most recent appearance over 1650m at Bendigo, getting home by just a head. Meets a similar line up so he is capable of getting the job done again. TIVOLI (6) drew wide last start and was never a genuine threat, beaten 13 metres into sixth at this track over 1690m. Finds a suitable assignment and can bounce back into winning form. SASSY GABBY (9) is worth another chance after a last-start eighth over 1650m at Bendigo four weeks ago. Top-three hope on best form. OWEN THE SAINTS (5) is the best of the rest after finishing fourth over 1650m at Bendigo last time out.
