TROTSYND- JOIN THE FUN MS PACE 2130m

Track: GOOD

ATLANTIC GEM (8) resumes from a spell of five months after closing off last campaign in good form, the last run being a solid third over 1730m at this track. Must overcome a very wide draw but is sure to prove hard to beat on her return. PETES HONOUR (7) was 4.5 metres away in second here over 2130m last start at his first run back from a spell. Meets a comparable field so he can certainly take this out. ROX THE WORLD (9) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win by 5 metres at Narrogin over 2242m. Top-three aspirations. TOMMY PRICE (1) should not have any excuses from the favourable draw and cannot be underestimated.

Failed to impress last start; 8th (Fr6) over 2130m after showing early speed at this track beaten 30 m by Classic Choice (2:34.70) in 4yo+ NR 60 to 70 on April 29 at $61. Showed ability the run before when he won by 8 m as favourite after showing early speed, (Fr6) at Northam (2:42.60) beating Ciao Babe in 4yo+ 2-3 WINs on April 19 at $2.70. Drawn favourably and is worth another chance.

Well beaten last start by Rox The World, a rival who he faces again; hung in on scoring up, when 15 metres seventh at Narrogin over 2242m in a NR 60 to 70 race on May 3. Cannot enthuse on what we have seen of late.
