DUSTY PHILTRA (6) finished in the placings on debut two runs back and again performed impressively last start, making up plenty of ground but just finding one better over 1650m at Bendigo. Primary contender based on those two efforts. MISTER SEASIDE (7) is a two-year-old colt by Downbytheseaside from Yourockanna on debut. Interesting to see what unfolds from this wide draw. Has strong trial form coming into this and is well-placed to score at his first appearance. ELLIANA (3) is a likely improver after debuting with a solid third last time out over 1690m at this track. Include in calculations. ATUA MAGIC (1) is stepping out for the first time. By Bettors Delight and hails from the Shane Sanderson stable. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run and is sure to prove tough to beat.
