Decent field size but it lacks an on-pacer so only expecting a moderate tempo. CITINO (2) did a big job at Ascot and then just missed here in a CL3 over this distance. Is suited under the race conditions and Chris Parnham sticks aboard. The one to beat. SHOULDER PATCH (4) has placed both starts back without threatening but has plenty up the sleeve and will be a lot sharper today at the mile. Has a tricky gate but is in good hands. ARAFISIO (7) ran her best race beaten 1.5L at Belmont over this distance. Has a handy barrier and can get some of the money. WHAITIRI (6) missed 1L to back on the Scarpside and that's the best measure of her chances. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Citino.
