Lots of speed predominantly from Hot Pearl, Red Roses Too and Certainly. CONVOCATION (6) is a winner of her last two starts over this distance at Scottsville. She showed good pace last time and fought hard all the way to the line. She gets the services of a 4kg claiming apprentice and if suited to the polytrack can notch up the hat-trick. RED ROSES TOO (2) is better than her last start run over 1000m on the turf would suggest. She is unbeaten from two starts over this course and distance. Jumping from an inside gate can atone. CERTAINLY (3) won well last start over 1000m on the turf. She returns from a spell which would have done her the world of good. It is encouraging that Richard Fourie retains the ride and if fit enough she will prove hard to roll. THERE SHE GOES (7) finished a close-up sixth of 12 over 1000m at Scottsville last start. Nicely placed to find some form.
