Strong early tempo assured with Labiata, Eri Kohaku and Yamano Pretty locking horns. LABIATA (2) last appeared five-and-a-half months ago when she won over 1000m at this track. Form shown last campaign makes for good reading and she is having her first outing under new trainer Junji Tanaka. Can make an immediate impact for the new mentor. ERI KOHAKU (1) finished out of the money when tenth in a 1200m contest at Ohi four weeks ago. Fuma Ono gets the best out of this four-year-old filly. Won't find this as tough so she is a major player. SWAN ORCHID (6) disappointed last start when eighth over 900m at Kawasaki. Faces an easier assignment so she is perfectly placed to score. BELLUM FELIX (4) last appeared five weeks ago over 1500m at Nagoya when he finished ninth. This is his first run for the Kazuhisa Yamada stable and he should be primed for this.
