Outlaw Annie and Puffin will press forward, with a couple of the first starters also pressing forward. Tricky race for the two-year-olds with many first starters. GEMOLOGIST (1) has the score on the board with a solid debut win on a heavy track at Muswellbrook. Can only be better for that and drawn one with leading rider on board there's plenty to like about him. OUTLAW ANNIE (5) only just failed at her first outing around the tight Wellington circuit. Much bigger track this time and likely improved for the outing. Commands some respect. JOSEPHINE (9) is on debut for good country stable off a couple of nice trials so respect. FORGING AHEAD (3) and ALBERT'S PICK (7) also step out first time and pay to keep them safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Gemologist to win. Save on Outlaw Annie.
