Without a great deal of early pace evident Last Weeks Pay may lead the way over Lunar Vista. Several win chances but LUNAR VISTA (3) looks awfully close to a win. Fitter for two runs back and just missed last time in a richer maiden. Extra trip a plus and back at home. Looks hard to beat. FARTOO FRISKY (12) had a lot go wrong last time in the same race as Lunar Vista. Was back and wide and failed to come on. Fitter, better draw, extra trip a plus, change of rider and blinkers added. Might see a different horse. RED RIPPLES (4) has been thereabouts without winning and should run well again. SNOBBERY (7) hasn't raced since the Victorian St Leger as a three-year-old. Has placed 3/6 and while might be better over further, class might take him a long way here fresh back in maiden grade. RICH MELODY (5) looks next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stick with Lunar Vista. |

Sportsbet More Places Maiden Plate 1100m
Callisto Grey will stride forward but there are few first starters who can keep her honest. Plenty of first starters to make it a little tricky but KAYLA KRUZEN (5) has some good form on the board. Was racing in richer maidens in first campaign placing in 4/6 starts. Trialling well leading into this and looks hard to beat. NEVER PEGASUS (2) was well in the market on debut at Murray Bridge and kept coming to place. Sure to be improved and should be in the finish again. YOURWORSTNIGHTMARE (9) is a colt by Doubtland making his first appearance. Unbeaten in two trials and expected to be well fancied to open his winning account at first outing. DANCEABLE (4) stormed home on debut and despite the draw can be doing the same again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Kayla Kruzen fresh. |

Magain Fielke Real Estate Class One Plate 2100m
Didactic should be able to comfortably find the front. EXTRA CHILL (6) looks well placed in this easier grade. Last couple have been in town in far richer company, the latest beaten only a few lengths. Far easier here and gets chance. DIDACTIC (1) was well fancied at Murray Bridge last time in maiden grade and led throughout, lifting strongly to get off the mark. Expected to give a sight again. LAFONT (7) is another coming off city form. Finished runner-up last time behind Mr Trafficanti and in the process beat home Extra Chill. Will get back but has been winding up strongly and looks suited by the extra ground. TERMINAL SHOCK (8) found the line strongly last time and is worth following up. EMPIRESTATEOFMIND (2) is better than last run and gets a chance to atone. SUGGESTED PLAY: Extra Chill can improve sharply. |

Irongate Australia Fillies & Mares Benchmark 58 Handicap 1500m
Limbering to take charge ahead of Magic Island at a solid tempo. Wide open with plenty of win chances but looking at a couple of improvers down in grade. SPANGLED SIPPER (2) has raced in richer company the last two, the latest eighth in town over a bit further. Freshened for this and will be charging home strongly. Same goes for SHE'S TERNACIOUS (1). Winner two back at Murray Bridge then began awkwardly and was back throughout from a wide draw, turning back and deep and making ground late without threatening. That has proven a hot form race and draws much better this time. Worth forgiving. AFFAIRE VUE (3) returned from a break at Bordertown and wound up strong to score. Fitter again and can go back-to-back. MAGIC ISLAND (7) is better than recent form looks. Will be prominent throughout. LIMBERING (6) is a veteran mare but racing well and can give a sight again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Spangled Sipper can bounce back. |

Kingsford Hotel Rating 0 - 56 Handicap 1100m
A solid tempo on the cards with One Whim taking charge. Open race but the Evans yard has a great hand with three runners. ONE WHIM (4) is going better than the recent form looks. Placed two back at Murray Bridge then was 10th in town but not beaten far. Well placed here and looks hard to run down. Stablemate WHOOPS A DAISY (8) was fourth and narrowly beaten two back then fifth and beaten less than two lengths in town latest. Well placed and drawn to go close. MANDITO'S MAN (6) was well in the market on debut over 1000m at Murray Bridge in a Class1 and wound up strongly to place. Better for it and can feature again. DAMPEN (1) has been racing in town lately and will find this much easier. Expected to improve sharply. Another Evans runner BELLENTIA (5) continues to race well. Has had 15 tries on top of the ground and yet to win but the more edge off the track the better. SUGGESTED PLAY: One Whim can find form. |

Paxston Street Storage Class One Handicap 1200m
Good pace expected with Finnbar Mccool, Miss Kasei and Hell's On Fire paving the way. Looks a good race for MAYSOONFLY (10). Resumed over 1000m and stalked the speed before boxing on well to finish runner-up. Fitter and the extra trip looks a plus now. Apprentice rider replaced by Holder and looks hard to run down. DAMELLI (6) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 1200m at Murray Bridge, finishing second and beaten 2 lengths. Close to a win and looks a leading hope this time. SILVALOA (2) resumed three weeks ago over 1000m at Murray Bridge and was only beaten 1.5 lengths into seventh. Was run off legs but kept coming. Much improved and will be tough to hold out over the extra ground. RICH BRITT (9) made some progress last start to finish seventh over 1000m at Murray Bridge, beaten 4.5 lengths. Extra trip looks a plus and can settle closer this time. BIG RITA JUNE (4) ran well fresh and is another who will be improved second-up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Maysoonfly. |

Plenty of pace with Immortal Spirit and Yarrawizardharry up front, pressured by Hamner Springs and Papal Wars. Tough race complicated by wide draws for many of the chances. YARRAWIZARDHARRY (3) has the coveted rails though and looks hard to beat. Racing well in richer races lately but off the inside here looks likely to take catching. ROYAL FOX (4) is racing well and deserves a win. Placed last two, the latest runner-up and beaten less than a length at Murray Bridge. Gets chance. TAUPO TIGER (9) has drawn wide and flashed home at last two starts. Even wider gate this time but will relish the good pace and be charging late. TOUR DE MOON (5) is better than last time and looks hard to hold out. HAMNER SPRINGS (8) is on the quick back-up after finishing seventh in town on the weekend. This is easier and can give a sight. SUGGESTED PLAY: Yarrawizardharry will take catching. |
