Race 1 1400m
O SHIN BOMBER (6) sets the benchmark after being beaten a neck by Scallywag at Sonoda as an odds-on favourite, and his recent 1400m form looks the most reliable in a modest race. BLEU VERT (9) resumes after six months and must overcome plain closing efforts in March, but five wins at this track and distance keep him firmly in the discussion if he returns in order. AIR ZAKYNTHOS (4) was beaten over 13 lengths first-up, yet his Sonoda 1400m record and second-up scope give him a stronger case than that bare result. CROSS KNOT (7) remains winless from 18 starts, though recent margins keep him competitive at this level. METAL METALLICA (8) should be handy and is better suited back at 1400m. |

Race 2 1230m
ROCK'N' BEAT (5) gets the first look in a race where the exposed form is thin and several have been well beaten of late. He was fifth on debut over 820m at Sonoda, beaten ten lengths after sitting handy and not finishing off, but he still had Umesuisho behind him and should take benefit from that first race experience. GAMILA'S SAIPAN (2) has the most obvious recent-form rating support and maps midfield, though her last two Sonoda runs were plain and the drop back from 1400m is a genuine query. UMESUISHO (3) was near the top of betting on debut before battling, and the light weight keeps her in the discussion if she improves second-up. UCHU KAIZOKU (7) has been safely held in two 820m runs but did battle on last start, while KATSU YOZAN (6) needs to rebound from a weak latest effort to fill a placing. |

Race 3 1230m
SIENA GRACE (3) sets the standard after leading and opening up to beat Civic Tarumain over 820m at Sonoda, and that form is the clearest winning reference despite the rise to 1230m. CIVIC TARUMAIN (6) has the obvious rematch case after improving sharply into second there, though he still has to turn the tables on a filly who had his measure. MO MO SHINE (4) brings the most consistent profile, with three placings from as many starts, and the return from 1400m may help if she can use her early pace without being softened up. TRACEUR (7) is more of a place-shaped danger coming back in trip after two 1400m runs, while WADA KATSU (1) can be positive from the inside and has a debut second to keep him in calculations. |

Race 4 1400m
CIVIC CHARLES (2) sets the standard with a dominant last-start win at Sonoda and a strong record at this track and distance, while the return of Sota Hijikata keeps the profile very solid. FUKUNO FEAR NONE (3) is the clearest danger after winning by seven lengths first-up, and her 1400m Sonoda record gives that performance genuine weight. INTERLUDE (7) brings winning form from 1230m and maps forward, though the 1400m asks another question. TIARA AZUL (4) also won last start, but did so over 820m at big odds and has more to prove at the trip. WIN VIEW (1) can use the inside draw and early speed to hold a place chance. |

Race 5 1400m
NAMURA BUNCHY (1) resumes as the key runner, bringing stronger 3yo+ C1 form into a 3yo C2 after finishing fifth here when beaten just over two lengths as a well-supported favourite. BESUPOJI (7) is the main race-fit threat, third-up now and coming off a second to Chopasni despite being unwanted in the market, with an excellent Sonoda 1400m profile. MIRACLE ACE (5) maps handily and has been close in both recent runs, though his one win from 24 starts keeps the price important. COSMO TAISHI (8) is honest and should be on pace again, while HIGH RESILIENCE (3) has back-to-back seconds and adds depth to the exotics. |

Race 6 1700m
SPRIGGAN (4) sets the standard after dominant back-to-back Sonoda wins, most recently scoring by eight lengths as an odds-on favourite and again drawing to control the race. WONDER GUARNERI (6) is the main danger, bringing a last-start win, a narrow second the run prior and a strong Sonoda 1700m profile. HO O NOUVEAU (3) has to leave a plain latest run behind, but her previous third and handy racing style keep her in the contest. MAKASENAHARE (2) resumes from a four-month break with proven track-and-trip form, while DENTAL FLOSS (7) profiles as a minor-money hope after placing over 1870m. |

Race 7 1230m
WAKINO NOBLE (7) sets the standard after successive Sonoda wins, most recently beating Last Duel by a length and a half over this trip after settling back. She is drawn wider than ideal, but the current form is the cleanest in the race and her 1230m record reads well. CROWD NOISE (1) resumes from a four-month break and has a far stronger Sonoda 1230m profile than his latest ninth suggests, though he must rebound from two plain efforts. OAKEN (3) improved sharply last week when fourth to Ankoro after leading, and he maps to be prominent again. ENTELECHEIA (5) has been below his best but can use early speed and the rise from 1000m is a point in his favour. DRAGON GOKU (6) needs to lift on recent margins, yet the return to a winning distance and Wataru Hirose back aboard keep him in the place mix. |

Race 8 1400m
HIMARIN (5) brings the most persuasive recent profile, having finished hard for fourth over 1230m at Sonoda last start after looking a long way from the winner, and that followed a half-length second to Quattro Fortuna. The extra ground looks the right way to test that finishing pattern. SABUNO RAINBOW (4) is harder to read after failing to finish last time, but her prior 1230m run was sound enough and the 52kg gives her a genuine reset. SKY ACCEL (7) should provide the speed and was only beaten just under three lengths after leading here last start, though she has to see it out better than she did two back. LILY PARK (6) can use her on-pace style to stay in the race, while WAKINO FLASH (3) has the track-and-trip record to improve into the placings despite plain recent margins. |

Race 9 820m
ANGEL MOMO (2) sets the standard after a much sharper fourth at Sonoda when beaten just over a length and respected near the top of betting. She is likely to settle rearward, so the race shape matters, but the inside draw gives her the chance to conserve ground before producing late. SCENE DE NEIGE (6) is the main danger after tracking the lead and finishing fourth, with the 52kg impost and a previous track-and-distance win adding to her claims. JUNGLE MARISA (7) comes through a third-up profile with a recent placing and can settle closer than Angel Momo, while BAIKAL (9) has strung together two thirds and brings the most reliable place pattern. ARAJAI (1) is an inside-drawn knockout for the minors if the drop back in trip sparks improvement. With limited obvious speed among the selections, position before the turn may be decisive. |

Race 10 1400m
A P POETESS (4) sets the standard after going under by just under a length as favourite at Sonoda first-up, and her previous neck defeat in 4yo+ C2 grade gives the form a little more depth than most of these can offer. SAKURA TOP SELLER (3) is the obvious danger, with consecutive Sonoda placings and a sound track-and-distance profile, though he may need the race to flow from off the speed. MOSHO (5) should be the main tempo influence and comes through two honest 3yo+ C3 runs, including a long-neck third two starts back, so the rise from 1230m is the key to his winning case. YAZAN (10) was second here fresh and can hold a place position if he works across from the wide draw. SUNRISE PRIDE (8) resumes from a long break but owns the stronger career record and did make ground in 4yo+ C2 company before spelling. |

Race 11 1230m
KING SPICA (9) sets the standard despite resuming, having won his past two supplied runs at Sonoda as a short odds-on favourite and with strong 1230m credentials. SILENCE TIME (4) is the immediate danger after charging home to beat Daijobanai narrowly last start, and his six wins from nine starts at this track and distance give him a firm base. DAIJOBANAI (6) was only beaten a head in that same race and can improve second-up, though he must turn the tables. MIGRATEUR (1) gets weight relief and has sound Sonoda statistics, but the drop back to 1230m is a genuine query. KEIAI LOVAGE (8) brings honest enough recent margins but lacks the winning edge at this course and distance. |

Race 12 1230m
BELLAGIO ABROAD (6) looks the right anchor in a race where the speed should be genuine, with Mehrangarh likely to press forward and Promettre plus A Shin Okikurmi able to sit handy. Bellagio Abroad has been consistently around the mark at Sonoda, was close-up over 820m last start and has enough early pace to offset the rise in trip if he relaxes. A SHIN OKIKURMI (7) arrives off a 3yo+ C3 win here and brings proven track-and-distance strength, though this is a deeper assignment. PROMETTRE (2) maps neatly from barrier two after putting Love Stinger away over 820m, with 1230m the main test. APPUPPU (8) has recent form to forgive only in a measured sense, but the class drop and track-and-trip record keep her in the mix. MEHRANGARH (1) can give cheek from the inside and is already a Sonoda 1230m winner. |
