Good early pressure anticipated with a large contingent of unraced runners. JENNI MOO MOO (3) is a twelve-start maiden who finds an easier contest from the low draw. Savaged the line from the wide gate with a narrow second over 1020m at Moruya. Tempo and jump in trip suits. THE LOCAL (8) three-year-old Acrobat gelding from Musicmaker on debut for the Matt Dale yard. Has impressed in all his trials, including the latest 1050m win at Randwick. Drawn out in a very thin contest. Go close. THE FRISKEE FLASH (9) played up before the start on debut and was slow into stride before chipping away late to run fifth over 1020m at Moruya. Fitter now and looks well placed with the claim. Each-way contender. BOLD CONQUER (6) Xtravagant gelding from Can She Kiss on debut for the Scott Cowlings stable. Finished runner-up in both Goulburn trials and not to be underestimated. SUGGESTED PLAY: Jenni Moo Moo and The Local can fight it out. |

D ONE ACCOUNTING MAIDEN PLATE 1400m
Expecting Spain to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. SPAIN (6) returns from a short break after sitting on the speed for a game second over 1400m in the G3 SA Sires' Produce Stakes at Morphettville Parks on July 18. Fitted with the two Randwick trials and should get the Maiden win out of the way. IN CIRCLES (5) has impressed in all four career starts and should relish the extra trip today. Jumped in distance with a plugging third over 1250m at Beaumont (Newcastle). Has genuine top four prospects. PEOPLE'S CHOICE (9) Dundeel filly out of Garden Of Swans on debut for the O'Shea & Charlton yard. Hardly set the world alight in the two trials and look for a better effort under race conditions. AUSBRED ECLIPSE (1) returns from a lengthy break. Showed ability in the first prep and returns with the two trials. Maps well and place claims look best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Spain can find the front and prove hard to run down. |

ABERNETHY GORE SOLICITORS BENCHMARK 66 HANDICAP 1300m
Genuine tempo from Peace Bird leading Spread The Love. MONTRESOR (10) justified the heavy support on debut ($2.60 fav), when a fast-finishing winner over 1250m at Beaumont (Newcastle). Carved out good closing splits on that occasion and gets the right run again. Hard to stop in this stronger contest. PEACE BIRD (2) is chasing her fourth straight win at this course and winning apprentice retains the ride. Took control early and never headed with a sharp win over course and distance. Can offset the rise in weight from the low draw. Hard to stop in this vein of form. SPREAD THE LOVE (6) showed good early speed on resumption before folding up in the straight to finish sixth in a BM66 over 1200m at this track. Goes well here and proven second up. CHEMTRAIL (3) has struggled in town of late and finds a weaker contest today in the small field. Unwanted in betting and ran accordingly when eleventh over 1200m in a Highway at Randwick. Place preferred. SUGGESTED PLAY: Montresor has the upside to continue the winning momentum. |

Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a solid tempo. CENTIMETRE (8) three-year-old colt by Extreme Choice colt out of Warmth on debut for the O'Shea & Charlton camp. At the most recent trial he finished fourth over 1045m at Randwick August 28. Can lift under race conditions in a winnable contest. OUTSTRIDER (10) three-year-old gelding by Pariah from Perissa on debut for the Waterhouse & Bott yard. Has been thereabouts in his last two trials and kicks off in the right race. Will roll forward and take catching. COSMIC ECHO (3) defied the betting drift on debut with a respectable third from back in the field over 900m at Newcastle. Ready for this trip and should be able to race closer today. Each-way player. SEQUOIA (13) three-year-old Stay Inside filly out of California Gallant on debut for the Michael Freedman yard. Has trialled okay and worth thought. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 8,10,3,13. |

AARON GRANT ELECTRICAL COUNTRY BOOSTED CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1300m
Faerywood should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest. DAYLITE (5) justified the favouritism at his third race start with a decisive 4.5-length victory over 1200m at this track with plenty in hand. Finds a fairly average C1 today from the good gate and can repeat the performance. WOLF ISLAND (9) has his hoof on the till and is due for a change of luck. Shouldered the 59.5kg from the wide gate with a slashing second over 1280m at the Canberra Acton in weaker company. Gets the right run here with the good weight drop and sure to be thereabouts. FAERYWOOD (10) found them too sharp over the 1010m on the heavy (8) surface with a battling seventh at Moruya. Ready for this trip and has solid winning prospects. GLENN'S LEGACY (2) form hard to fault but doesn't get the same map favours today. Comes out of a decent contest after running third over 1400m at this track. Stays in the calculations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 5,9,10,2. |

RURAL FIRE ELECTRICAL & SOLAR CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1100m
Borderfall to take charge ahead of Dee Dee Express at a strong tempo. BORDERFALL (1) improving gelding heading in the right direction. Got off the mark first up in sharp style over this trip at Wyong. Found a fairly strong BM64 with a courageous fourth over 1100m at Wyong when anchored with the 59kg. Gets map favours and should prove too good for this lot. DEE DEE EXPRESS (3) trained locally and will find this more to her liking with the claim. Total forgive from the wide with a fading on pace fifteenth over 1100m at Randwick in Highway class. Winning apprentice goes back on and has the ability to return to form. STROLLIN' BY (8) started as a dominant fav when she dropped sharply in class with a comfortable Super Maiden win over 1100m at Mudgee. Confidence is high and worth plenty of thought. The chances don't end there. AZURE ANGEL (6) has won previously first-up and resumes here after a break of four-and-a-half months. Has a host of gear changes and trialled well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Borderfall ticks plenty of boxes from the right draw. |

Solid tempo anticipated with Cha Cha Cha heading them off. PROPHET'S PROMISE (3) comes here deep into the campaign and winning apprentice retains the ride. Savaged the line from back in the field when getting through the heavy going to salute over 1650m at Moruya. Sure to feature again. SNAP DECISION (4) is trained on the track, and he finds an easier race third up. Returned good closing splits with a fighting second over 1600m here. Can continue the good form and no shock to see him get the better of these. TOUSSAINT (7) frustrating mare who finally got the job done here last January. Never in the contest first up when eighth over 1400m at Kembla Grange to the progressive Harry Lime. Expecting a better effort up to the 1600m. LUNA BAY (1) outclassed first up from the wide draw with a battling ninth over 1400m at Kembla Grange. Claim helps in this easier contest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 3,4,7,1. |
