Hollywoodbets KENILWORTH WELCOMES YOU MAIDEN PLATE 1000m
EL COHETE (1) remains a maiden after five runs. Met with plenty of support last time but could only manage to finish fourth over 1000m at this track. Well placed on this occasion and gets her chance to break the ice. WREATH OF SNOW (2) is a well-related three-year-old colt making his first appearance at the races. By Vercingetorix from the stakes winner Snowdance who has produced Grade 1 winner Snow Pilot. RUST NEVER SLEEPS (6) ran a much better race at his second outing last start to finish third over 1200m at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. BOLERO (7) produced a fair effort on debut last time out when 8 lengths from the winner in fourth at this track over 1200m. Nicely placed and deserves respect. |

LUCKY FISH BOOK OF POSEIDON MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
OVER MY SHOULDER (1) is a well-related three-year-old filly making her first appearance at the races. By Vercingetorix from Sempre Libre who has produced some fine gallopers, including four time Grade 1 winner Eight On Eighteen. Expected to measure up. SABRE WING (2) will find this a little easier than her third on debut two-and-a-half weeks ago, beaten 4 lengths at the end of 1250m at Durbanville. Will benefit from that experience so she should be in the finish again. ROCK THE ROAD (6) finished third, beaten 3.5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at this track. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race. WINTER BLOSSOM (4) is a first-starter by Soqrat from Zephira who has produced a high percentage of winners-to-runners. |

JOIN THE PASSION MAIDEN PLATE 1400m
AFRICAN WILD DOG (2) was prominent from the outset when second over 1400m at this track last time out. Overdue and gets chance. Should be right in the finish. ZANFAN MORIS (3) is yet to break through after three career starts. Managed to find the placings at this track two starts back when resuming before finishing fourth over 1500m at this track last time. Should be in the mix. BIG DEAL (7) did little and finished 5.5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1600m at Durbanville last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at this track the run before. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. IT'SGOOD IT'SNICE (8) had been going okay but was safely held last start when ninth over 1500m in Group 3 class at Durbanville. Deserves another chance. |

Hard to beat with leading rider aboard. NTIBINDI (8) is yet to break through in five runs. Finished fourth at her last appearance over 1400m at Durbanville on July 7. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. MACRO GRAVITY (11) finished third, beaten 2.5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at Durbanville. Nicely placed to go a couple better. WHAT THE FLUFF (7) returns after ten weeks in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a seventh over 1400m at this track. Has ability so don't underestimate. |

BET WITH TOTE www.tote.co.za CLASS 4 1400m
EISTEDDFOD (2) ran below expectations last time at Durbanville, finishing fifth and beaten 4.5 lengths starting at $4.30. Doesnt win out of turn but looks well placed here and drawn for a sift run. Gets chance. AMAYAH (4) is a handy type who resumes after a break of three-and-a-half months. Only appeared once last prep when she finished seventh over 1500m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Has scored first-up from a spell before. Capable of playing a big role. HAMPSTEAD HEATH (5) improved sharply last time out to score by a neck over 1200m at this track six-and-a-half weeks ago. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. TAKE IT AS RED (1) impressed last start. Right in the mix again. |

Definite winning hope. AVIGNON (6) had been racing consistently with two minor placings on end prior to finishing fourth most recently over 1250m at Durbanville. Close to another win and worth following up.
