GENOVA FLAVOR (5) turned in a fine effort to score by 2.5 lengths at this course and distance last time out to build on a solid first-up result. Must raise the bar but another win beckons. YES YUI CAN (2) finished second at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 1000m at Funabashi, finishing 6 lengths back in sixth after being in contention on the corner. Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. A I KIRISHIMA (1) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race when fresh from a spell last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 2.25 lengths over 1500m at this track. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. KOJIN KINKI (8) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1800m at Funabashi, beaten 4.5 lengths. Nicely placed to maintain the form. |

INO (9) was sent out at $20.90 last time but ran above expectations and won over 1400m at Kawasaki. Expected to run well again. REBAT (10) had been performing well prior to finishing 15 lengths from the winner in eighth last start over 1200m at Funabashi. Deserves another chance. SURF PLATINUM (1) was prominent into the straight last time but couldn't go on with it and finished fourth over 1500m at Funabashi. Finds the right race and is worth consideration. MEISHO BENIBANA (11) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 0.8 lengths over 1400m at Kawasaki. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. |

RUBY TESORO (5) is a three-year-old filly by Orfevre out of Spokane Tesoro set to debut for the Satoshi Kokubo stable. Expected to go well, with betting a key indicator. SHINANO AMBER (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she got a long way back over 1400m at this track, beaten 8 lengths into seventh. Meets a stronger field but she is capable of running a bold race. KYOEI ALADDIN (3) is a seven-start maiden who has been in the money three times, Could only manage ninth last time out over 1400m at this track. Goes well here with three top-three finishes to his credit. Will be thereabouts. KIMPATSU BIJIN (8) resumes from a spell of three-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish 13th at the latest run over 1400m at this track. Rates highly on best form and a bright return wouldn't surprise. |

BITTER MELON (6) ran below expectations when fresh from a spell at Kawasaki over 900m last time, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Ryo Novata gets the best out of this three-year-old filly. Finds a nice race and can atone. SARA MISCHIEF (3) is resuming from a spell of five-and-a-half months and having her first run for the Takashi Mizuno yard. Was in the placings when first-up from a spell last campaign at Monbetsu over 1100m. Well-placed and is among the chances. LIGHTNESS (2) was beaten 4.5 lengths into fourth over 1400m at this track five-and-a-half weeks ago. Has her share of ability and is a top-three prospect. |

DOUBLE RAISE CARD (8) was prominent at the corner and finished a neck from the winner in second when resuming last start at this track over this distance. Has found the frame in all three starts at this journey, including two wins. Tsubasa Sasagawa who has two wins when partnering stays on. Leading contender. ORI'S GENIE (4) was heavily backed and justified the support when resuming last start over 1500m at this track, scoring by a nose. Will be better for that latest run and he is a major player again. TOMISAN PEGASUS (9) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 3 lengths away in third over 1500m at Kawasaki when she was prominent throughout. Taking on a better line-up this time but she can win if at her best. AIR SHALLOW (6) has been freshened up since racing on the speed and fading to finish seventh over 1400m at this track on March 16. Capable of a much better performance. |

BASQUE REGION (3) was beaten 11 lengths into fifth over 1500m at Kawasaki last time out. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time. |
