Only has to hold that form to go close. EYNESBURY (2) key jockey change tonight and will relish the solid tempo from the good draw. Indicated a win was imminent with a fast finishing second over 1200m at Gosford. Near his top and sure to be thereabouts. FARFETCHED (9) speedy filly who can take control early from the wide barrier. Steps out to this trip for the first time after she gripped on late to secure third over 1100m at Warwick Farm. Stays in the mix. The chances don't end there. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rach and Hay Street can fight it out. |

Closed late with a respectable third over 1550m at this track. Can get into the stalking position and prove hard to hold out. SO REBELLIOUS (3) will have little trouble running the trip after finishing a good fourth over this course and distance two starts back. Kept fresh and back in trip with a sound Maiden victory over 1550m here. Sure to be thereabouts. PROCEAN (4) dour type who comes back in trip after he gripped on to run third in the small field over 2400m at Kembla Grange. Deep into the prep and stays in the calculations. Gets a much better setup tonight after being nailed late by Fine Vintage over this course and distance. No excuse with the distinct fitness edge over the bulk of these. GENEROUS HARRY (3) progressive gelding who scored two sharp wins on the provincial tracks before bumping into the smart Nazwah when sixth over 1000m at Warwick Farm. Well in with Fitzgerald's 3kg claim and has the speed to overcome the sticky draw. Solid top-three player. RUMOURS ABOUND (6) classy Albury-trained mare who brings the right form to this winnable contest. Gave them a galloping lesson from the awkward barrier when she led throughout to score by 3 lens win over 1000m at Wangaratta. Sure to be there at the business end. LIFE COACH (8) proven at this track and the last two runs have been sound. Pushed forward from the wide gate with a dominant victory over 1250m at Taree. Stays in the calculations. Lugging bit goes on and assess on his impressive win at Wyong before going for a spell. Will have little trouble handling this company. Sure to be thereabouts. CONCORDIA WIND (1) ran below expectations from the wide gate with a plugging sixth over 1400m at Warwick Farm. Will appreciate Grima's 3kg claim and can return to form quickly. SAVVY SPY (7) comes out of the same race as Sir Loyne after fading late to run sixth from the outside barrier at Kembla Grange. Will roll forward again from the awkward gate but has the talent to test these. LE TROISIR (3) slashing run first-up over the unsuitable trip with a fast finishing second over 1300m at Newcastle. Showed enough in his first prep to suggest he has a future. Will benefit from the urgings of Nash Rawiller. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 6,1,7,3. |

VANESSI (7) snagged back from the wide barrier and ridden for luck when she savaged the line to secure third behind Big Red Tequila over 1100m at Warwick Farm. A repeat effort can see her finish over the top of these. MISS CAPITALE (10) is a lightly raced mare building a solid winning CV. Resumed for her second prep with an effortless on-pace win over 1200m at Beaumont (Newcastle) in the soft (6) going. Another who steps up a level who can overcome the awkward draw. THAMES (3) Listed placegetter with sound second-up credentials. Can race a little closer tonight and stays in the calculations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Manukau and Vanessi can fight it out. |

Ivan's Hero and No Drama can lead the small field. NO DRAMA (1) consistent gelding who carries the big weights well. No match for the progressive Sovereign Hill with a fading seventh over 1350m at Rosehill second-up. Gets a much better setup for this and has a good record at this course. Hard to hold out. IVAN'S HERO (6) gone to a new level this campaign and can keep the winning momentum going with Grima's 3kg claim. Deep into the prep and race fitness will take him a long way again in this harder contest. ART VOLANT (4) is holding her form after bumping into a couple of smart types at her last couple of outings. Chipped away late from back in the field with a respectable fifth to Sovereign Hill at the latest. That form is good enough for this. TENDERIZE (7) at his peak for this and can turn things around quickly over this trip. Slow into stride with a tidy sixth over 1350m at Rosehill. Down in sharply in weight and gets his chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: No Drama will prove hard to get past. |

Agarwood is expected to lead at a strong tempo. AGARWOOD (3) above average filly who graduated quickly to Group company last prep. Stalked the fast tempo first-up with a game second as fav over 1100m at this track. Comes to hand quickly and the 3kg claim can offset the sticky draw. Expected to go close. FERINZO (6) sharp Gosford-trained gelding who keeps raising the bar on the provincial circuit. Comes to town for the first time after he rounded up inferior opposition in good style over 1100m at Gosford. Gets the right run and will have no problem running out the 1250m. ALBANY ROAD (4) is undefeated in his last three outings and stretches out to this trip for the first time. Defeated a handy field when he got up late over 1100m at this track. Should be able to get cover from the draw and take a hand in the finish. SLINKY (7) on the quick backup after closing fast for a respectable fifth over 1250m at this track last Friday night. Anywhere near her best could win this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 3,6,4,7. |
