COSMIC FORTUNE (7) worked home from the back in great style, delivering in 50 grade over 1013m at Murwillumbah as public elect. She can sit handier today from an inside barrier and is well-placed to repeat the dose. TRYANZA (2) brings a close third this track/trip and was even better beaten 1L at the venue prior. Maps for the run of the race and he has winning claims. DIVIDENDS PAID (3) resumes and was an easy winner at Coffs Harbour on debut over a shorter sprint. He's promising and has prepared for his return with a Port Macquarie trial win. One of the key chances. SEA OF QI (5) resumes and is right up to this if presented forward enough for the 1006m sprint. Legin is the likely leader and should be able to get there comfortably. PIERONIMO (2) improved again to finish just 1.1 lengths from the winner over 2200m at Sunshine Coast, racing forward. He's in good hands and will present at peak fitness. Well placed at country level and should be winning. SONDER (5) didn't have the best of luck twice here over this distance and then pulled up with an issue at Tamworth. Maps well on a 6-day return, and he can form the quinella if he puts his best foot forward. ALASKA DE LUNE (6) stepped up to this distance at Ipswich and won her Maiden comfortably. Didn't get warm on the Gold Coast poly track following at big odds. Rolls up on a 5-day return so must be pleasing. Better back on the grass and she can get some of the cash. FLEE WITH ME (11) was much over this distance 9 days ago at Lismore. He will be around the mark on that effort. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pieronimo to win. |

Strong tempo assured with Rich Star and Mashean leading the way over Kobi Express. MASHEAN (10) is another strong winning chance for the sharp Archibald yard. Has placed 4/5 and was quickly back on track leading and placing at the Sunshine Coast. The well-bred filly won't know herself in country grade and is sure to take a stack of beating. ARCHIE MAXIMUS (4) resumes gelded for the in-form Matt Dunn yard and has looked sharp at the trials. He'll come back improved and will get every chance from an inside barrier. RICH STAR (2) resumed and was prominent from the outset when missing a nose at this track as a $2.1 favourite. Had just missed at the track heavily bet prior and may control the race from the inside barrier. Fitter and is sure to give a big sight. JENNIBELLE (7) is on debut and won her most recent trial. Pay to watch the market with her. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mashean to win. |

Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Zweigelt. ZWEIGELT (3) trialled well and jumped a $2.3F at Murwillumbah on debut and he found two better beaten 1.4L. Mallyon stays aboard and he can threaten with the extra fitness. HIGHLAND DANCER (4) was backed off the map just missing at Gunnedah on debut, and it was a tough effort after a slow off. Draws inside again and is an improver who is among the best chances. GRACEFUL WARRIOR 7) resumed here beaten 1.8L with the fitness giving out late. She's switched from a sharp Victorian yard and has more to give. Maps well and she also deserves consideration. REFEREES (1) trialled well before racing and then overcame difficulties in running to finish fourth on debut over 1100m at Murwillumbah. Will improve with the race experience on board. SUGGESTED PLAY: Zweigelt appeals. |

Expecting a solid pace with Evony, The Rookie and Mini Angel leading the charge. This is tricky. PICUPSTIXX (12) has turned the form around this preparation and second up led and just missed this track/distance. May take a sit today but he'll be fitter again and this is his chance to reverse a long run of outs. THE ROOKIE (5) placed but was well beaten in the same contest. Tracked the speed and won a Ballina Maiden prior and with average she can get some of the money. CIANWOOD CITY (8) also draws awkwardly but won her Maiden here well enough to give her a hope. MINI ANGEL (3) switched from a Victorian yard and needed the first-up outing. She'd win if she found her best form. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Picupstixx. |

Plenty of pace from the outset with Spills and Gaming leading the charge. INQUISITOR (5) was quickly back on track beaten a nose at Toowoomba in stronger. Needs a good Looker ride from the wide gate, but the extra metres suit and he's well placed. ALABAMA GIRL (10) draws even wider but there was a lot to like about her CL1 win here 16 days ago. Has a key gear switch and Jett Newman stays aboard. GAMING (6) was good here first-up but didn't manage the spike to this distance at Lismore. He will be better for that and has claims with average luck from a sticky barrier. OLIVERSHARE (11) can show more third-up and will be around the mark. SPILLS (3) drew out and pushed forward early but weakened out of it late when eighth over 1400m at this track last time. Has a low draw this time and can bounce back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Inquisitor to win. |
