Has upside and is expected to go close again. SPIRITRIX (4) closed last prep 12 weeks ago when she finished 11th over 1000m at this track. Sole win was while fresh and looks an improver. Among the leading chances. MISTY METAL (6) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 4.5 lengths away in seventh over 1000m at Vaal. Is unbeaten in two starts at this course and distance. Meeting a deeper field this time but she deserves another chance. BRIGHT AND BRAZEN (1) goes well over this course and distance and was close to the winner in the last two. Excellent winning chance with the help of an inside draw. |
