RARITAS (9) found the line nicely to grab third last time out over 1200m at this track. All set to run well. SONIC FOCUS (6) scored over this course and distance last time after racing on the speed then lifting to score by 1.75 lengths. Expected to feature again. BIG ROYAL (12) scored on debut last start over 1200m at this track, finishing a nose ahead of his nearest rival. Big run is expected.

SEIEI (13) was a very impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 30 lengths over 1400m at this track. Jumps from a wide draw but is clearly a key runner. OMASA (6) pushed forward and led throughout to score a 5-length win over 1400m at this track last time. Can push forward again here and is right in this. BLUE HISASHIN (2) finished second last start over 1200m at this track, beaten half a length. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race. PARMIGIANINO (5) finished second last time over 1400m at this track when resuming from a spell. Will trim down second-up and anticipating another forward showing.

GLORIOUS KING (3) went around over this course and distance last time and led from the outset to score by 1.3 lengths. Sure to take some stopping again. KING OF WORLD (2) did a good job last start to finish third over 1600m at Mizusawa, beaten 5 lengths. Placed to advantage and can run another bold race. YUME KAIDO (6) hasn’t been far away since a maiden win six runs back, the latest effort a third over 1800m at this track on January 17. Right in the mix. NAMPASEN (5) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1400m at this track. Looks to be in the right race so he should be in contention again.

KAGAYAKI TEMMA (6) met with solid support last start over 1400m at this track when second. Takayuki Yano stays aboard. Sure to play a big role. CIVIC DREAM (8) returns from a layoff of 12 weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1400m at this track. Could be hard to stop. COSTA DE LA LUZ (7) was impressive last time at this track, scoring by 2 lengths over this trip. Is going well this campaign, recording two wins from four starts. Expected to be competitive. CORAL KING (1) missed the frame last start over 1200m at this track, finishing sixth. Has his share of talent and fitter is a top-three prospect.

MIKUNI SUNBEAM (8) produced a reasonable effort to finish 1.0 lengths away in third last start over 1200m here after a win on debut at this track. Nicely placed to take this out. LIME FLAVOR (2) is yet to miss the placings in two starts, including a win. Is at the races for the first time since he scored over 1200m at this track on November 8. Can play a major role. JUNE DRAGON (9) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track over 1200m. Expected to cross from wide out and can feature. KITASAN YUJA (4) finished second last time over 1200m at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing and is capable of another strong performance.

REAL MUHAMMAD (9) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second at this track two starts back then scored by half a length as favourite last time out over 1600m at this track. Norifumi Mikamoto scored on him last time and retains the mount. Nicely placed to take this out. KAZU PIREAS (6) is building towards a win with placings at his last two runs, the latest effort a second over 1600m at this track when beaten half a length. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Sure to be in the finish. COCONUT GARDEN (1) was prominent on straightening and stuck on well to finish second last start over 1600m at this track, beaten half a length. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. KITANO DAYJOB (3) is back after a break of five-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1600m at this track. Worth plenty of thought.

GOLDEN ALE (9) was an emphatic winner last time over 1400m at this track with today's rider Wada Joji engaged. Has been in strong form this campaign, registering three wins. Should prove tough to beat again. HELLCAT (8) is a promising filly yet to miss the frame after three starts, including two wins. Is at the races for the first time since she scored over 1600m at this track on July 31. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Sure to be in the finish. GENERAL WIN (14) strode forward early from his wide draw to settle just off the lead last start then lifted to score by 0.8 lengths at this track over 1400m. In form and another bold showing is on the cards. RETRO TYPE (12) failed to figure again last time over 1400m at this track when tenth. Among the place chances on best figures.

SPARTA LEONIDAS (2) is close to a win with two recent placings, the latest when second over 1500m at Urawa. Reunites with jockey Norifumi Mikamoto who knows him well, including four wins while aboard. Expecting a bold showing. ORTHO SLUGGER (3) turned in a strong run over this course and distance last time, settling well back then unleashing in the straight to get up for third. A repeat of the latest effort will see him in the finish again. BENISSIMO (4) returned from a spell last start with a strong win by 2.5 lengths over 1600m at this track. Has a solid second-up record and this looks well within his grasp. LORD BALDER (5) was eighth at the second run back from a break in an 1800m contest at this track at his latest appearance. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.

ROSEN WOLF (4) turned in a fine effort to win by 1.3 lengths at this track and distance last time out to make it two-for-two this prep. Expect another big run. COSMO BASILEUS (12) ran well below his best last time over 1600m at this track, finishing fifth at $3. Masashige Honda who has three wins when partnering stays on and best form puts him right in this. MIYUKI KOKUSHIMUSO (2) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at his last couple of runs including a third most recently over 1600m at this track. Tsubasa Sasagawa has registered two minor placings when on board. Sure to be competitive. COSMO BRIER (1) improved last start but found one better over 1600m at this track, beaten just a nose. Suitably placed so he can be prominent again.

CORIN JUDGE (8) was sent out favourite last time and scored by one length at this track. Boasts 10 wins here. Should be prominent from the outset. Expected to be in the finish. VENEZIA FLAVOR (11) returns from a break of four months. Consistent performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a fourth over 1200m at this track. Nicely placed to kick off another successful campaign. ESPRIT RICHARD (3) finished fourth last start over 1400m at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. YANNOKA STEP (1) resumes and can feature fresh.

NISHIKEN SAKU (12) raced on the speed and kept going to score by a nose when resuming last time out over 1400m at this track. Has the gate speed to cross from out wide and is capable of testing his rivals. CHARMANT SIEN (5) finished third at this track over this distance when resuming from a spell last time out. Has a strong record this course, scoring at seven of 14 starts. Bold showing is expected. FLOWER JEANNE (2) has been in great form with two placings in succession, most recently when third over 1400m at this track when she was prominent throughout. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is right in contention. BELIEVE HORSE (1) was comfortably accounted for when fifth last time out over 1200m here after a win at this track at the previous outing. In the mix.

BAY STATE (13) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third last time out over 1400m at this track. Should be prominent in the run despite the wide draw. Taking on a better field but he is worth serious consideration. GRAND MALL (7) opened this prep with a win two runs ago then a good effort last time out when winding up in second over 1200m at this track, only beaten a nose. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. MAPLE LEAF RAG (8) missed the frame two back in tougher company then relished the easier contest last time when third over 1200m at this track. Rates highly and is a leading player. BRAVO KINGDOM (6) turned things around last start and got the job done by 1.75 lengths over 1200m at this track. Has his share of ability and finds a suitable race.
