Ladbrokes Form Genius Plate 1200m
Always plenty of early pressure in sprint races such as this with a large contingent of first starters. PULA (8) on top. She ran a good race on debut at Geelong over 1212m, taking up the running and only going down late when beaten a length into second. She'll be better for that and should have the pace to hold the front from the inside gate. If that eventuates, she'll go close. SECRET ELEGANCE (9) was okay at Pakenham last time from a tricky draw having shown promise in two runs prior. Can land in a better spot here and be hard to hold out late. JASMINA (6) is a filly by Blue Point on debut for the Danny O'Brien yard. She's jumping out well and draws a soft gate. Expecting she measures up. REGAL SURGE (1) is a gelding by Darci Brahma on debut for the Ciaron Maher yard. Expect he'll get further but must respect the yard. BAZABALL REWARDED (2) ran well at Mornington fresh and can figure. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pula to win. |

Ladbrokes 55 Second Challenge Heat 11 955m
Hot pace certain with Majesticity, Sakowin and Frose keen to take up the running. MAJESTICITY (3) is a lightly raced four-year-old mare who proved far too speedy first up at Pakenham over 1000m, winning by 2.75 lengths. It was only a 0-62 but she's won two from three and has the right profile for a race like this. LAZY SUSAN (1) is fresh for this having been around the mark in a bunched finish at Flemington last time out. She's proven over this route which is important and she'll just need a bit of luck from the inside gate. ROOM FOR BINGO (4) led and held on second up from a spell at Mornington last time out in a good effort. She's another speedy type who can push forward and take catching. MOON AND BACK (2) is often a victim of her racing pattern but will be charging late with the right race shape. SAKOWIN (6) has won two in a row this time in and could measure up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Majesticity to win. |

Evergreen Turf Plate 1523m
Keen early pace with Mcadam, Rip 'N' Rip and Saltburn locking horns. MCADAM (7) narrowly on top. All three runs this time in have been good, just edged out at Cranbourne two back before a tough effort at Mornington over 1500m last time. He can track the main danger in the run here and get the breakthrough. RIP 'N' RIP (4) did beat Mcadam home at Mornington, finishing second on that occasion. He's just found one better at all three runs this time in but continues to race well and should have the pace to offset the gate. SALTBURN (8) has raced twice for two seconds, only beaten a nose at Mornington last time out. He can kick up from the inside gate and should take catching. DARE TO (2) is an entire by Akeed Mofeed on debut for the Ciaron Maher yard. He's jumped out quite well and this should be a suitable trip for him. CLEO'S AWARD (1) was good in a strong maiden fresh and will be running on late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mcadam on top. |

Manhari Handicap 1523m
Strong early tempo with Parch and Rebels leading the way. GLENFINNAN (1) is a lightly raced type who resumed off a seven-month spell at Pakenham and ran well, condition just giving out late after showing speed but sticking on well for second. He drops 2.5kg given the slight rise in class but will strip fitter and can go one better. PARCH (2) is racing well, a maiden winner at Yarra Valley two back before just being nosed out at Seymour over 1422m. He's speedy, the last 100m might be a query but he should get every chance to run it out. REBELS (4) is a lightly raced three-year-old for the in-form Begg yard, sticking on well at Mornington in a Class 1 last time out. Up in trip now should be suitable and he maps well. KENTAHTEN (5) is stuck on one win from 26 starts but has been close up of late and can figure. THE DAILY PLANET (6) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Glenfinnan to win. |

Musk Creek Farm Handicap 1000m
Expecting plenty of speed from Dreamzel and Azeezle. Tricky race. AZEEZLE (8) has been close up in bunched finishes at his past two since a 0-64 win at Mornington. He's a speedy type who can cross to settle in the first two, and from there he should take plenty of catching. MISS TITELINE (7) struggled in a stronger race at Flemington last time out but had been racing well prior, only 1.5 lengths off subsequent stakes winner Romantic Choice at Caulfield Heath two starts ago. That's good enough to win this. LLOYD'S CROWN (6) has been around the mark without winning this time in, all in small fields. He's a winner here and should be poking through late if the gaps come. TAX FREE PROPHET (2) is racing consistently and just needs things to go his way to be swooping late. DREAMZEL (5) has built a handy little record, well placed to score at Penola last time out. She's up to this and can figure. SUGGESTED PLAY: Azeezle on top. |

The Cirka Valley Summer Middle Distance Series- Heat 1 2040m
Outcaster has enough pace to cross from the outside draw in a race devoid of genuine early speed. Open race. GINGER SWEET (9) should set up nicely from the gate having just found one better at her past couple, beaten a long neck on both occasions. She should be at peak fitness now fourth up and can improve again. PRINCESS NEFERTITI (4) has had a few chances but did run well behind a progressive horse in Maisy last start at Geelong, beaten two lengths. Like her getting to 2040m and she draws for every chance. LYGON STREET LUIGI (5) tried hard in a similar race here last time out when third and only needs to hold that level to be fighting out the finish. OUTCASTER (7) was no match for an easy winner last time but may look to cross from the wide gate and if left alone can give a sight. BITCOIN (1) comes back in trip but can be strong late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Ginger Sweet to win. |

Broadside Lawyers Handicap 1200m
A solid tempo on the cards with Nepravda leading the way. HUSTLE IN HEELS (1) won well on debut at Caulfield Heath in a handy three-year-old maiden which saw her start $2.50 at Mornington, encountering plenty of traffic issues there when finishing second last. Forgive that, she's got upside and can bounce back. MCKEYLA (5) is a promising filly who measured up well to BM74 grade at Flemington last start over 1100m, beaten just a neck in a tight finish. Up to 1200m should be no issue, she is likely to get a long way back though. NEPRAVDA (6) won quite well fresh at Mornington over this trip and can go on with the job now. She can find the front and take catching. PORSHA CRYSTAL (9) was a dominant winner two back at Stawell, perhaps not suited down the straight at Flemington last time. Can improve. PRIVALOVA (2) won easily fresh at Kilmore and could measure up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hustle In Heels to win. |

The Orbit Logistics Valley Summer Sprint Series Heat 1 1200m
Dimora Queen should lead at a strong tempo. See no reason to jump off DIMORA QUEEN (12) who has been dominant at her past two, winning by 4.5 and 4 lengths, scoring in good time at Kilmore over 1204m last start. This is no doubt a sterner test but she does drop 2.5kg and can measure up nicely. CHEERSTOTHAT (3) is a stablemate to Dimora Queen who is also in great form, resuming with a solid win at Werribee having also won both runs last time in. Tough draw for the apprentice but she's hard to knock. EXCESS (4) hasn't really put it together this time in but she was better at Mornington last start. Unproven at 1200m and drawn wide is the knock but on her day she's well up to this. SUPERSET (5) is racing consistently and should be thereabouts while AMERICAN LIAISON (2) was a narrow winner last time and is in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dimora Queen to win. |
