Faber and Oken Bolt are likely to pair-off in front at a reasonable clip. FABER (6) is back after a break of nine months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 2000m at Chukyo. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with four minor placings. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. ONE DAY MORE (7) turned in an encouraging run first-up, settling well back then winding up nicely to finish fourth over 2000m at Nakayama. Sure to be tough to hold out. OKEN BOLT (8) comes here off a break of three-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 2000m at Fukushima. Has to be respected. MEINER CAMPANA (1) proved too strong two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when fifth over 2600m at Fukushima, beaten 4.5 lengths. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
