WHO EVER THOUGHT (7) looks set to peak fourth-up after rattling late for a sound fourth over this trip at Quirindi on April 30. Drop in weight suits from the better draw. Will prove hard to hold out. ROCK 'N' REIGN (1) was beaten for early speed on debut before rounding them up effortlessly when a convincing winner over 1000m at this track two weeks ago. Further improved and has the upside to go close again. NYALI SANDS (8) promising filly resuming from a lengthy break. Won her maiden two back before sitting on the speed from the wide gate when a close-up fourth over 1300m at Taree on October 6. Two recent trial placings were sound and looks primed for this. COTTON SOX (11) broke her maiden two back before having no luck from the wide gate when seventh over 1100m at Armidale on April 15. Trained locally and gets the rails draw. Big improver.
