Hot early pace is on the cards with Resurgence, Consigliere and Act Of Power matching motors. RESURGENCE (1) returns from a spell and is having his first run for the Kelly Mitchley stable. He if not in need of the run, he can improve on his last run to take this race out. CONSIGLIERE (2) showed good improvement to finish third in his last start over this distance at Kenilworth. The blinkers seem to have done the trick. He is having his first run for the Gavin Smith stable and if settled into his new surroundings, he should prove hard to beat. CONNECTION (5) has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. It must be noted that the horse that finished third in his last outing has come out and won since. He is likely to race up on the speed and may be hard to peg back. SWISS WALT (4) has been in the money at his last two outings, finishing second last start over 1200m at this track. Genuine each-way contender.
