From the wide draw Run On can cross and set up a solid tempo. SOUTHERN NATIVE (5) has been knocking on the door back in Victoria but just struggles to land the winning blow. Hasn't won for a long time but the drop in grade could do the trick. MR WHITACRE (7) only warmed to his task late when resuming at Murray Bridge. Is sure to have come on with that run under the belt and can give this a good shake. RUN ON (2) has turned in two poor ones of late but was ticking along much better prior. Willing to forgive on best efforts. TALES OF CONFLICT (3) is a strong finisher on his day. Gets his chance to settle closer from the low draw and is aided again at the weights with the 2kg claimer sticking. Among the chances. PRIVATE JET (1) is another that hasn't done a lot of winning for a while. Better suited in this line up and Crowther sticking is a push for his chances. In the mix.
