Gold Flavor to take up the running at a moderate tempo. MUSH BRIGHT (6) improved sharply on her fourth two starts back at Urawa with success over 1400m at Urawa three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by a neck. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is right in contention. ALMACE (2) was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 2.25 lengths, over 2000m at this track. Sure to prove tough to stop. RASE GRISE (3) finished second at Urawa two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1400m at Urawa, finishing 3.5 lengths back in sixth. Taking on a better line-up this time but he deserves another chance. CINDERELLA WALTZ (8) finished fifth over 1400m at this track at her most recent appearance on January 4. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
