Genuine tempo primarily from Exsperion and Mayuhime. EXSPERION (2) gave a great sight last time, leading into the lane and boxing on well for a close second over 1400m at this track when well supported. That made it four minor placings from seven runs this preparation. A repeat of the latest can see him take a hand in the finish. TEARJERKER (6) gave away a big start at the top of the straight last start and finished seventh over 1400m at Kanazawa. Among the top chances in what looks a most suitable race. AREION (1) was prominent at the turn and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1230m here. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. ROCKIN' DOOR (3) finished 11th at his last appearance over 1230m at this track on April 25 after he got a long way back in the run. Has struggled in recent runs but worth consideration here.
