Last time out finished second over 1600m at this track. Made headway last time and winning rider Hiroshi Ohara stays aboard. Top chance. RU FENG (5) ran a nice race last time out, finishing third over 1400m at this track. Has ability and is expected to run well again. AOI MAKOTO (4) settled well back and failed to make significant inroads in the straight last start when sixth over this course and distance. Finds the right race this time and can turn things around. SONG OF BALLAD (6) got the prize two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when sixth over 1600m at this track. Finds a suitable race and can bounce back.
