Hot early pace is on the cards with Superstruck and Hi Poppy matching motors. WANALOAN (9) returns from an eight-month spell for a new stable. Has won over this distance when fresh in the past. No trials to assist but expect her to be ready to run well, with some solid early market confidence backing up that claim. CHAMPAGNE SHARON (4) is another returning from a break in a new yard. Talented mare whose best form last prep was over more ground, including a second at Moonee Valley. Trialled well recently and is capable of a big run while fresh. KATIE EXPRESS (8) settled back and failed to make an impression first-up over this course and distance last start. Sparingly raced filly who is open to plenty of improvement. ZIPITALIST (2) has found the line well at both runs this prep and is in the mix out of the inside stall. SMUGGLER'S ANGEL (5) is capable of a big run first-up from a spell. SUGGESTED PLAY: Wanaloan on top in a race of many chances.
