Fast tempo assured with Something Great, Mcgillis and Derma Jizo going at each other early in the piece. RAINBOW WEATHER (2) was well in commission last start over 1300m at this track when second, beaten 3 lengths. Certainly deserves another chance. DERMA JIZO (1) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and was prominent for a long way before fading to finish fifth over 1300m at this track. Sure to be prominent from the outset. MCGILLIS (8) was in contention on the corner and finished second last time over 1400m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten 3 lengths. Nicely placed to play a major role. SABLE MIRAGE (7) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was beaten 10 lengths into seventh over 1300m at this track. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
