Fast tempo assured with Victor The Winner, California Spangle and Believing going at each other early in the piece. The first of the G1's and I'm happy to have VICTOR THE WINNER (3) on top in The Chairman's Sprint Prize. He was dominant in the Centenary Sprint Cup here two back and while he was beaten 3.2L in Japan last start, that run has plenty of merit. Can find the front again here and take plenty of catching. CALIFORNIA SPANGLE (1) has been superb since returning to sprint trips, winning the Al Quoz in Dubai last time out. There's already been a winner out of that race and he was given a quiet tick over trial recently. In great form and can win again. MAD COOL (2) beat Victor in Japan in a rails hugging ride. He failed to fire a shot here in December off a similar set up so I am wary of that. He's definitely good enough, he might just need some luck from the draw. INVINCIBLE SAGE (5) was good in the lead up and warrants respect. HOWDEEPISYOURLOVE (6) is sure to be flashing late.
