Moderate pace with Vermiglio taking up the running ahead of Meisho Tokonatsu and Pair. PAIR (5) is building towards her maiden success, the latest effort a solid third over 800m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. T O D'AMOUR (10) is returning from a spell of three months. Finished 11th at Nakayama over 1600m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Kyoichi Ito. Leading hope and could be tough to stop. TAISEI QUEST (6) is a four-start maiden who could only manage to finish ninth at his latest appearance over 2000m at Hanshin Dirt. Back in trip and finds an easier assignment. Can feature. MION (9) was safely held in tougher grade two back then appreciated the easier grade last time when third over 1400m at this track. Looks well placed in this company and rates an each-way chance again.
