Genuine tempo with the speedy Hollyhock leading the way. HOLLYHOCK (11) pushed forward when resuming last time and boxed on to finish second over 1200m at this track. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. B B LORELEY (9) returned from a spell last start with a strong win by 2.5 lengths over 1200m at this track. Fitter for that last hitout and this looks well within his grasp. DAGR FORCE (2) is a four-year-old gelding who is still a maiden after 15 starts. Failed to threaten when sixth first up last start over 1700m at this track but can make an impact here. ILLUSION (3) last appeared five-and-a-half weeks ago over 1400m at Sonoda when she finished fourth. This is her first run for the Junji Tanaka stable. Expect her to be primed for this.
