Always plenty of early pressure in sprint races such as this - no obvious leader engaged. This is more like a provincial or even country maiden. With that in mind SUPER ZIPPI (7) brings the best form to the table with a couple of placings at Wyong and Hawkesbury recently. Sat handy and didn't shirk the task over this trip last time. Looks a bit better than most of these on that performance and is a great chance to open the account. VELOCE ROSA (8) worked home well but found one better on debut last start over 1000m at Wagga. Should be hard to hold out over this slightly longer trip. Bjorn Baker's first starter NOTHIN' SEEMSTOFIT (4) has been to the trials plenty of times. Respect any market moves. ERAANTYVA (2) on debut for Waller/McDonald won't need to be a world beater to be competitive in this field. HOT JIVE (3) disappointed at a short quote first-up at Wellington but can improve. SUGGESTED PLAY: Super Zippi on top.
