Gallant Crown has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. NORTHERN BEAST (9) got over the top to score at this track and trip last time out, winning by 0.8L as favourite. He went close from a similar draw two back, and now drops 6.5kg as he rises in grade. Might need some luck, but just needs to run up to his latest effort to be winning again. KASA PAPA (6) stuck on strongly to be beaten 0.8L over this track and trip 42 days ago and has since been back to the trials. Bowman rode him in that trial and sticks in the saddle today. He's 956 days between wins, but is knocking on the door and today may be his day. JUMBO LEGEND (4) just missed when closing strongly a fortnight ago. He is expected to get back from the draw again, but his last two ratings suggest he has his hoof on the till. Likely to be storming home once again. JOYFUL PROSPERITY (10) is better than he showed last time out and gets the winkers back on from an inside alley. Include.
