Speed should be right on over the 1200m journey. CLIFFSCAPE (3) has shown good progress in each of her outings to date. She raced from a prominent position over 1250m at Durbanville last time and found more where it matters most. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. She takes on stronger rivals but she has scope and should be well up to the task at hand. POETIC PRINCESS (1) followed up her maiden win with a decent fourth-place finish over 1000m at Durbanville. She is a consistent type and merits healthy respect. BLACK PATH (6) did not settle in the early stages of her last start over 1400m and understandably lacked a finish. She is capable of running into the placings in this line-up. VIVO PER LEI (5) showed good speed to lead over 1400m at this track last start but faded right out of it to finish sixth. Should be prominent from the outset. One to consider.
