City Playboy is the probable leader in the small field. CITY PLAYBOY (1) has changed stables since his last start at Ipswich in the spring. He has had a recent trial and wouldn't mind some cut in the ground. He is fresh up over 1400m so has done plenty of work at home, and from the pole position, he can take this out. NEW LEVEL (4) did not get into the race from a wide draw at Rockhampton last start and will enjoy some weight relief. If his mind is on the job, he is worth including in all multiples. DAUNTING LADY (8) has been thereabouts all year and is overdue for another win. All of her 2 career wins have been on this track, and she can get the job done. Stick with her. DAINTREE DREAMING (6) will enjoy the step up to 1400m and from his good draw in this sort of field, he can't be underestimated at a decent price. SUGGESTED PLAY: City Playboy to win.
