Plenty of pace with Popeye The Sailor and Son Of Grace leading from Paint Me Red. Lots of these looking to bounce back. AMAPOLA (8) accounted for a maiden field over 1454m at Kyneton last start and winning rider Zac Spain is aboard again. Harder task ahead this time but drawn for a soft run and can measure up. WOMEN IN UNIFORM (11) did very well to place fresh but raced below expectations last time over 1400m at Cranbourne. Has the talent to take this out and blinkers added this time. GAGO (3) meets the easiest field he has contested in an age and is fitter for two runs back. Gets chance off a low draw. NO NEW TRICKS (7) finished second two back in a good run then could only manage seventh last time over 1419m at Sale, beaten 6 lengths. Melham, who was aboard for the placing two back, replaces the apprentice from last time. This easier and can atone. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stay with Amapola.
