Genuine tempo from Kastrom Pepe leading Adam's Apple. BERTONE (8) was an impressive winner last time over 1400m at Kawasaki, leading throughout and putting 5 lengths on her rivals. Should measure up again. BLESSED THUNDER (2) finished second two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by a head over 1500m at this track. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to figure in the finish. GLETSCHER (3) has been in the money at his last couple of runs, the latest when third over 1600m at Kawasaki. Will be right in this. ADAM'S APPLE (11) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Funabashi but couldn't back it up last start when ninth, beaten 6 lengths, over 1200m at Funabashi. Open to improvement and should be about the money.
