From the inside gate Yosshi Rio should be prominent along with Handful. HANDFUL (7) went fast early and kicked strongly to score over 2100m at this track last time. Should be ridden forward again and could prove tough to beat. YOSSHI RIO (1) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish third over 1500m at this track. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. JASPER RUBY (4) missed the frame last start when she was never in contention over 1200m at Hakodate, finishing 13th. Won't find this as tough so she is likely to play a big role. MEINER MONTUS (6) was unplaced last start over 1400m at this track when eighth. Can improve.
