Placed 2/2 fresh and 2/3 at the trip. Expected to go close off the low draw. GOLD GOLD BABY (5) disappointed last time when fifth over 2400m at Greyville after a close second at this track the run prior. Well back in trip but did wind up strongly only try here to finish runner-up. In the mix again. BLUE POPPY (7) resumed two-and-a-half weeks ago over 1500m at Scottsville and was only beaten 0.7 lengths into fourth. Has been in the money at each second up start. Calvin Habib is a key engagement. Likely improver with strong prospects. DANCING IN DEMARK (4) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing fourth and only 1.75 lengths from the winner at the end of 1600m. Suitably placed so anticipating another bold showing.
