Plenty of pace from the outset with Taisei Marshal and Kotatsude Mikan leading the charge. TAISEI MARSHAL (8) is putting together some solid results. Finished second at this track two starts back then scored by 1.5 lengths as favourite last time out over 1200m at this track. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to score again. KOTATSUDE MIKAN (1) returns after a spell of seven months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1200m at Ohi. Has switched to the Takamitsu Watanabe yard. Expect him to play a major role. ODYSSEY (2) won at this track and distance at his last outing seven months ago. Makes plenty of appeal. RAINBOW POLARIS (9) showed good early speed last start before boxing on well and finishing second, beaten a neck, over today's trip at this track. Going up a level this time but he cannot be underestimated.
