WARILLA GORILLA (1) switched from a top Sydney barn and demolished the Maidens here first-up by 4.3L. He's still got more to give and has a handy gate and 2kg claim. He should be taking the next step. The speedy READY AND MABEL (7) resumes and delivered a Maiden win here before the spell. Just missed prior on debut and is sure to have come on. She's trialled well and from the inside barrier will lead them a merry chase. ADDICTIVE PIRANHA (11) resumes and will carry just 51kg with the claim. The yard is flying and the recent trial win suggests she'll be more forward this time around. Has ability and keep onside. MISS DE MEDICI (5) was building nicely before being outgraded at the Gold Coast. The 2kg claim is handy and she can be in the finish with average luck from the awkward barrier.
