Strong pace from Arabian Red, Valerias Dream and Umzolozolo. VALERIAS DREAM (6) won a good race over this course and distance last time. She set the pace and found more where it matters most. She returns from a well-deserved spell which would have done her the world of good. She runs well for Stallone Naidoo and if not in need of the run, she may be hard to peg back. NEMOROSA (11) followed up her maiden victory with a good second-place finish over 1200m on this course. She raced from a handy position but found one too good on the day. Has to be respected. SHARAPOVA (3) has top consistent form lines to her credit. She drew off late under Kendall Minnie last time and against similar company, she can bring up the hat-trick. UMZOLOZOLO (10) was an easy winner when shedding her maiden tag over this distance on the turf last time. She takes on stronger rivals but has scope and should be well up to the task at hand.
