Won first two before finishing runner-up to U S Ranger latest. Has won fresh and can go close again. FIRST OFFICER (2) finished third last start over 1300m at Fairview All Weather, beaten 1.3 lengths. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Honest colt overdue and expected to go well. VENTURA BOULEVARD (9) bolted in at first start then outclassed in a Grade 2 latest. Expected to improve sharply.
