Slick tempo with Onimaru to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. SCHNELL KAGA (5) built on a nice third two starts back at this track with a win as public elect over 1800m at this track two weeks ago, getting home by half a length. Stepping up a level this time but on current form he is good enough to take this out. ONIMARU (2) four-year-old entire with multiple wins at this journey. Good effort but found a couple better last time out over 1400m at this track. Terrific chance in a suitable contest. SKY OJI (8) improved last time out, finishing second at the end of 1400m at this track. Has his share of talent and finds a suitable race. KUROTCHI (1) missed the frame last start over 1900m at this track when seventh. Nicely placed to find some form.
