WILD SENSATION (9) returned from a lengthy break with a slashing first-up fourth over 1150m at Beaumont (Newcastle). Proven at this trip and expect to see him a little closer in the run. Top-three prospect. KNIGHT OF RHODES (12) happy to overlook the first-up flop in the heavy conditions with a fading last over 1200m at Kembla Grange. Won well on debut here last September and can make rapid improvement over this trip. ACHESON (4) struggling to draw a decent gate at his last three outings and today is no different. Covered a stack of ground in the run with a tiring sixth over 1200m at Canberra in a TAB Federal. Can make his mark with the claim. HELLO JACK (6) tough gelding with his hoof on the till.
