GUNFIGHTER ROAD (4) took control early at his second race start with a dominant on-pace win over over 1400m at this track with the 58.5kg. Has further upside heading into this and no reason he can't get the job done over the mile. SOUTHERN SKY (6) mixing her form on the provincial tracks. Will relish the firmer surface after struggling on the heavy track with a plugging fifth over 1600m at Kembla Grange. Fitter now and has genuine winning claims. ASTROGAZER (2) consistent gelding who drops in class with the 4kg claim after holding on to secure third over 1500m at Goulburn in BM66 class. Has the speed to get across and not without each way prospects. CINEPHILE (11) third-up for this after he chipped away late to run fourth over 1600m at the Sapphire Coast.
