Good pace from Facet, Saddle and Miyagi Emperor going forward. MIYAGI EMPEROR (2) turned in a sound effort last time when second over 2000m at Kawasaki. Back in trip this time. Draws in close and is expected to go well again. SADDLE (6) took advantage of the good draw last start and led for much of the way before finishing third, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 1600m at Kawasaki. Solid run last time and will take catching again. DAIBA YATAGARASU (11) improved last start to finish second over 1500m at this track after being in contention on the turn. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. ICHIKANO YUME (10) finished eighth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Has her share of talent and is a top-three prospect.
