Genuine tempo with the speedy Vancouver Bay leading the way. MORDECAI (2) clearly found getting a long way back last month too hard to overcome. He has run a lot of decent races at this track without a win. A nice speed would help and he has some changed up gear as well. GREGARIOUS (1) only missed by a nose over the 2000m. Is back that furlong today but doubt that will have much of an impact. EL OF A SENORITA (4) has not put too many hooves wrong here. Getting back up in journey was probably what she needed. CARACRISTI (9) was OK last time but better in winning the run prior. Can rebound in this. LATIN LOVE (10) had a sharp drop in distance at Yeppoon so this is more suitable. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mordecai to get a win here finally. El Of A Senorita some value.
