The trio Raetihi, Ceasar and General Hippo will set a strong tempo. MAGIC GAME (6) raced back in the small field at Rockhampton last time and couldn't make up the ground. She was fancied in that event and so if able to sit closer here, has to be a good chance to produce more. GENERAL HIPPO (4) is one who would enjoy it if the track improves. He can be a bit up and down but some important gear changes bring him in here. CEASAR (3) will benefit from that run at Cairns. On breeding alone he will want the longer race. RAETIHI (2) does need to show more but some older Victorian form wins here. SMOOTH TORQUE (5) would be a place hope on her best but does have to show it. SUGGESTED PLAY: Magic Game is the play.
